Reporting delay likely impacted size of sandwich Listeria outbreak

In 1999, a deadly listeria outbreak led to 9 hospitalizations, of which 7 people died. The delay in stopping the outbreak, which was linked to deli sandwiches, is suspected to have created this high mortality rate. Read full article »
