California to Standardize Cannabis Lab Testing to Stop ‘Laboratory Shopping’

The California Department of Cannabis Control announced plans to standardize Cannabis lab testing methods amid concerns about exaggerated potency and “lab shopping” by businesses. Somewhat troubling, the department reports marijuana businesses are choosing labs that report higher THC levels than what is actually contained in the Cannabis.
