FDA plans to send foodborne illness updates weekly

The Coordinated Outbreak Response and Evaluation Network, an FDA agency, has announced weekly reports to identify foodborne outbreaks. This advancement in surveillance will allow for public notification prior to a public health advisory or recall, ideally curtailing the risks. More here »
